Neon Genesis Evangelion: Asuka Sohryu Urban Casual Wear Ver. 1/8 Scale Figure

Bring Asuka Sohryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion to your collection with this Urban Casual Wear Ver. collectible figure. This remastered interpretation steps away from the cockpit and plugsuit, presenting Asuka in a relaxed everyday look that still carries the unmistakable confidence and attitude fans associate with the fiery EVA pilot.

Character Lore: Asuka is the proud and fiercely competitive Second Child, chosen to pilot Evangelion Unit-02. Her bold personality and determination often put her at odds with those around her, but beneath that confidence is a character constantly fighting to prove her own strength and independence. Her civilian appearances offer a memorable contrast to the intense battles and psychological pressure that define much of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Standing approximately 8.5 inches tall, the figure is crafted from PVC / Plastic and presents Asuka in a clean, relaxed standing pose. Her long orange hair flows down her back in layered strands, accented by her recognizable red hair clips, while her bright blue eyes and slightly tilted head give the sculpt a softer, more contemplative expression.

The Urban Casual Wear design pairs a fitted blue camisole with a small bow at the chest and dark blue denim-style shorts finished with a contrasting white drawstring. Bare feet and the simple posture reinforce the laid-back off-duty aesthetic, creating a very different display personality from the armored and plugsuit versions commonly associated with Asuka.

A clean white circular display base featuring the red NERV insignia anchors the figure while allowing the vivid orange hair and cool blue outfit to remain the visual focus. Even the packaging complements the presentation with character artwork set against a bright sky-inspired backdrop, giving the entire boxed display a light, everyday atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with Evangelion’s darker world.

For collectors who already own combat-focused Asuka figures, this version brings something refreshingly different to the shelf. It captures the recognizable character without relying on an EVA unit, weapon, or dramatic effect, making Asuka herself the centerpiece.

Perfect for Asuka Sohryu fans, Neon Genesis Evangelion collectors, anime figure collectors, casual-outfit figure displays, and EVA collections looking for a colorful off-duty interpretation of the iconic Unit-02 pilot.
