Character Lore: Before becoming Akaza, he was a human named Hakuji. Growing up in extreme poverty, Hakuji repeatedly stole money to obtain medicine for his sick father, receiving criminal tattoos on his arms as punishment. After losing his father, his life changed when martial-arts master Keizo took him in and trained him while Hakuji cared for Keizo's daughter, Koyuki.

Hakuji eventually found happiness with Koyuki and planned to marry her, only for tragedy to strike when Koyuki and Keizo were poisoned by members of a rival dojo. Consumed by grief and rage, Hakuji brutally retaliated before encountering Muzan Kibutsuji, who transformed him into the demon later known as Akaza.

As Upper Rank Three of the Twelve Kizuki, Akaza became one of Muzan's most powerful demons and an obsessive martial artist who respected strength above nearly everything else. Even after his human memories faded, elements of Hakuji's former life continued to influence his personality, fighting style, and Blood Demon Art.

The Hakuji Split Ver. centers that connection in the figure's design. Rather than presenting Akaza only as the familiar demon warrior, the sculpt incorporates a white martial-arts-inspired outfit and contrasting supernatural elements that reference the human martial artist buried beneath his Upper Rank identity.
