Inventory Update: Expanding Naruto Shippuden, Attack on Titan and Berserk
Zenpai AssociationShare
The Zenpai Association catalog revamp is continuing behind the scenes, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t already thinking about what comes next.
As we work through our existing product lineup, we’re also identifying collections that could use more characters, stronger variety, and better representation across their series.
Three franchises are currently standing out as major targets:
Naruto Shippuden. Attack on Titan. Berserk.
And our goal isn’t simply to add more figures for the sake of increasing the number.
We want to build better collections.
Naruto Shippuden — More Characters, Less Repetition
Naruto Shippuden already has a sizable presence within Zenpai Association.
But there’s something we want to improve.
Character variety.
Like many anime figure catalogs, a large portion of the available Naruto Shippuden lineup tends to circle back to the same highly popular characters again and again.
Naruto. Sasuke. Kakashi. Itachi.
They absolutely deserve their place in the collection — but the Naruto universe is much bigger than just its most frequently represented characters.
Going forward, we’re looking to dig deeper.
More Akatsuki Members
One of our biggest targets will be expanding the Akatsuki lineup.
The organization gave Naruto Shippuden some of its most memorable characters, designs, abilities, and battles, and we want more of that represented throughout the Association.
That means looking beyond only the most commonly available members and searching for opportunities to bring additional Akatsuki characters and designs into the catalog.
More Villains
The heroes shouldn’t get the entire shelf.
We also want to put a much stronger emphasis on villains and antagonists throughout Naruto Shippuden.
A great collection becomes far more interesting when the heroes actually have someone standing across from them.
Whether they’re major villains, rival shinobi, dangerous rogue ninja, or characters who operated somewhere in the gray area between ally and enemy, we want to explore more of the darker side of the Naruto universe.
More Shinobi, Clans & Villages
Naruto Shippuden introduced an enormous world of ninja beyond Team 7.
That gives us a lot of room to expand.
We’ll be looking for figures featuring shinobi from different clans, villages, teams, organizations, and generations, especially characters that currently receive little or no representation in our catalog.
Instead of building a collection where five characters appear over and over again, we want customers to eventually scroll through Naruto Shippuden and keep finding someone different.
The goal isn’t simply to make the Naruto collection larger.
It’s to make it deeper.
Attack on Titan — A Major Expansion Target
Attack on Titan is in a very different position.
Unlike Naruto Shippuden, our current Attack on Titan collection simply isn’t large enough for a franchise of its size.
That makes it one of our clearest targets for future inventory expansion.
And this collection may look a little different from some of our other figure lines.
A Stronger Focus on Original Editions
There simply aren’t as many Remastered Edition options available for Attack on Titan as there are for some other anime franchises.
Rather than forcing the collection to rely heavily on remastered alternatives, we’re planning to search for significantly more Original Edition figures.
Select Remastered Editions can still join the lineup when strong options are available, but Original Editions will likely make up a much larger portion of this expansion.
That gives us an opportunity to explore more of the world of Attack on Titan through:
Survey Corps members
Warriors
Titans
Villains and antagonists
Supporting characters
Different character appearances and designs
Attack on Titan has far too many memorable characters and moments for its Zenpai Association collection to remain as small as it currently is.
We want to change that.
Berserk — Building a Collection Worthy of the Series
Berserk is another collection that needs serious attention.
Its current presence within Zenpai Association is much smaller than where we want it to be, especially considering the franchise’s dedicated collector community and the incredible amount of visual material its world offers.
Characters. Armor. Apostles. Monsters. Villains. Weapons. Dark fantasy designs.
There is a lot of potential here.
Original Editions Will Lead the Expansion
Similar to Attack on Titan, the number of available Berserk Remastered Edition figures is relatively limited.
Because of that, our future Berserk expansion will also lean heavily toward Original Edition collectibles, supplemented by select Remastered Editions when worthwhile options are available.
And we don't want the collection to revolve around only one character.
Guts will obviously always be an essential part of Berserk, but the world surrounding him is what makes the series what it is.
Our long-term goal is to create a lineup that represents far more of that world.
More Original Edition Figures Across Zenpai Association
Attack on Titan and Berserk are also part of a broader inventory direction we’re exploring.
We want to introduce more Original Edition figures throughout Zenpai Association.
Remastered Editions will continue to have an important place in our catalog, especially when they give collectors access to designs and characters that might otherwise be difficult to find.
But the catalog doesn’t need to be exclusively one or the other.
Original Editions and Remastered Editions can exist side by side.
What matters most is whether a figure brings something worthwhile to the Association.
That could mean:
A character we don't currently carry.
A villain missing from a collection.
An underrepresented faction or group.
A distinctive design or version.
A figure that fills a noticeable gap in a franchise.
We would rather add a figure that makes a collection more interesting than simply add another version of something we already have plenty of.
Stronger Collections Instead of Bigger Numbers
That idea is going to influence a lot of our inventory decisions moving forward.
Having hundreds of products doesn't mean much if too many of them represent the exact same characters.
We want Zenpai Association collections to become places where fans can actually explore their fandom.
That means going deeper into the cast.
Finding the villains.
Finding the supporting characters.
Finding different clans, factions, teams, and organizations.
Finding Original Edition figures when Remastered Editions don't offer enough variety.
And sometimes finding that one character you weren't expecting to see.
These Are Targets — Not the Finish Line
Inventory availability can change, and not every figure we discover will necessarily make it into the store.
We still review products individually before deciding whether they belong in the catalog.
So consider this update a look at where we're aiming next, rather than a finalized list of incoming products.
Naruto Shippuden, Attack on Titan, and Berserk are major priorities right now, but they won't be the only collections receiving attention.
There are plenty of other fandoms inside the Association that we want to strengthen too.
What’s Joining the Association Next?
For now, our catalog revamp continues.
Older products are being reviewed, descriptions are becoming more detailed, product information is being standardized, and more imagery is being updated.
That work gives us a stronger foundation for what comes afterward:
More villains.
More Akatsuki.
More shinobi.
More Original Editions.
More characters.
Stronger collections.
And when the next wave starts joining the catalog, you’ll hear about it right here in Inventory Updates.
Everything Fandom in One Place.
